Xbox Spring Sale Kicks Off Next Week – Over 350 Deals Being Offered (VIDEO)

Xbox Spring Sale

Prepare thy wallets, gamers, for sales are inbound! Larry Hryb, more commonly known as Major Nelson, announced that the Xbox Spring Sale will be kicking off next week, and it will be bringing some deep discounts along with it. The Director of Programming for Xbox Live took to Twitter to post the 45-second video that shows everything to be expected in the annual event. Well, mostly everything.

For starters, the Xbox Spring Sale is going to run from April 11 – 17. It is going to feature over 350 games with discounts running as low as 67% off, and Xbox Live Gold members will be able to save up to an additional 10%. However, it’s not just games that are up for grabs. For the first time ever, gamers will be receiving $15 off Xbox Design Lab custom controllers. On top of that, players will be able to sign up for Xbox Live Gold for just $1. In addition to all of this, music, movies, TV, and apps will be part of the sale. Here’s the video:

The specifics as to what games will be featured aren’t detailed in the video, but that information shall arrive soon enough. In any case, the clip shows off Overwatch, Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2, Titanfall 2, and Forza Horizon 3, so it might be safe to assume that they will be part of the Xbox Spring Sale. It’s also not mentioned how long players will receive the $1 Xbox Live Gold for, but be sure to check back in with Don’t Feed the Gamers for updates.

Is there any specific game that would be a great find in the Xbox Spring Sale? Is the $15 discount on custom controllers worth it, or will the wait continue for deeper savings?
