Every Xbox One X Contains Master Chief Tribute Inside (VIDEO)

Master Chief Riding Scorpion Xbox One X

Last year’s E3 was a big one for Microsoft and Xbox. The official announcement of Project Scorpio sent shock waves across the gaming universe as Phil Spencer dubbed the upgraded Xbox One console as “the most powerful console ever made”. At this year’s E3, Project Scorpio was unveiled to have the official title of Xbox One X, which to some was less appealing than the previous title. Microsoft caught on to the appeal of the “cooler” title and decided to release a few Project Scorpio editions of the super-console, but it doesn’t end there. A look at the guts of the upgraded gaming machine reveal an image of Halo’s Master Chief riding a scorpion.

Unocero is a Spanish tech channel on YouTube. In one of their most recent videos, their team shows a few short clips of what the insides of a disassembled Xbox One X looks like. Not only is there engraved “Microsoft” logos engraved throughout the machine, but the motherboard features a cartoon version of Xbox’s most iconic character, Master Chief riding on the back of a scorpion. This is an obvious nod to the Project Scorpio code name. You can see it for yourself in the video below:

The Xbox One S features an image of Master Chief as well, but you’ve got to admit the addition of the scorpion adds a nice fan-service touch to the whole console. The Xbox One X releases on November 7th, and will be the the most powerful gaming console to date. What do you think about the Master Chief riding a scorpion image contained within the hardware?
