Xbox Games With Gold For October 2021 Revealed (VIDEO)

With the start of October just a few days away, the folks over at Microsoft have announced what’s to come as part of its ongoing Xbox Games With Gold subscription service. As usual, the latest batch of free games features an even split between Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S titles and games that can be played using backward compatibility. The free Xbox Games With Gold titles for October 2021 are Aaero, Hover, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X.

Microsoft took to its Xbox blog site to announce the latest batch of Xbox Games With Gold freebies. Subscribers will be able to parkour their way to victory in Hover and soar to the beat of the rhythm in Aaero, which features music from the likes of Flux Pavilion, Katy B, Noisia, and more. The two backward compatibility titles are a pair of classic games that shouldn’t need any introduction. That said, the accompanying Xbox Games With Gold reveal video should do just fine in that regard:

Here’s the breakdown of title availability:

  • Aaero ($14.99 ERP): Available October 1 to 31
  • Hover ($24.99 ERP): Available October 16 to November 15
  • Castlevania: Harmony of Despair ($14.99 ERP): Available October 1 to 15
  • Resident Evil Code: Veronica X ($19.99 ERP): Available October 16 to 31

As usual, there are still a few days left to snag some of last month’s free offerings. The ones currently still available at the time of publishing are Warhammer; Chaosbane, Mulaka, and Samura Shodown II.
