WWE 2K20 Will Feature A Female MyCareer Mode (VIDEO)
If you don’t watch much wrestling, you may not be aware of the bigger changes happening within the WWE. While male stars like Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, and so many others are typically the faces of the company, over the past couple of years the WWE’s future is starting to tip towards the female side of things. While there is still some work to be done, the company has started to prioritize women’s matches as much as the men’s. This year’s Wrestlemania 35 featured a Women’s Championship match as its main event for the first time in its history, crowning Becky Lynch as one of the main stars and attractions in the company. Lynch will also make WWE 2K history and will be the first female star on the cover for WWE 2K20, releasing later this year. Now, it has been revealed that the game will also feature a women’s Career Mode for the first time in the series’ history, as revealed in the video below:
In the trailer are a few brief snippets of a cutscene with legendary WWE witch doctor, Papa Shango, and what look to be two custom-made characters, both male and female. WWE 2K20 will be introducing Mixed Match Challenges (Tag Team matches with one female and one male wrestler on each team) this year, and the scene may indicate the feature comes into play at some point in the player’s career mode. We’ll find out for sure when WWE 2K20 releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 22nd.
