The Outlast Trials Teaser Trailer Revealed With 2021 Release Window (VIDEO)
The Outlast series is one that many horror game fans hold near and dear to their hearts. Red Barrels revealed the first multiplayer entry in the franchise back in December 2019, but thanks to the PC Gaming Show, we now have a look at what to expect in The Outlast Trials.
During PC Gamer’s digital conference, The Outlast Trials was present with a teaser trailer that shows off a bit of the hell that players will be subjected to when the game arrives. Speaking of which, the developers were kind enough to include the launch window of 2021, so we at least know that it will be launching next year. Check out the chilling teaser trailer for yourself below:

The multiplayer aspect won’t be the only departure from the Outlast series that will be featured in the upcoming title. Instead of acting as a sequel in the franchise, The Outlast Trials will be a standalone title in the Outlast universe during the Cold War and it will see up to four players come together and cooperate in an effort to survive. Instead of using a camera to see in the dark, it also appears that the player characters will simply have night vision goggles forcibly attached to their skulls. Needless to say, it sounds like plenty of fun is to be had.
The Outlast Trials is currently in development with a PC launch expected for some time in 2021. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
