The Last Of Us Part II Reportedly Leaked By Hackers

The Last Of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II is easily one of the most highly anticipated games in gaming, and now that Naughty Dog has essentially been persuaded to release the game a little earlier than anticipated due to the leaks, fans are excited to dive into the experience. Speaking of leaks, it was rumored that a disgruntle employee was the one who released all of the information, but according to a recent report, the leak was caused by hackers that found their way into Naughty Dog’s systems.

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier recently took to Twitter to report that according to “two people with direct knowledge” of the leaks as well as some employees at Naughty Dog, hackers were behind the information being leaked. Apparently, they found their way into Naughty Dog’s servers via a patch for an older game, which then led to them gaining access to a bounty of information about The Last of Us Part II.

Schreier then went on to say how the rumors regarding a Naughty Dog employee leaking The Last of Us Part II details are not true. In addition to this, he believes the footage that was revealed is from an early build of the upcoming game. Of course, we may not know exactly what happened until Naughty Dog or Sony release any information about the leaks, but remain cautious while exploring the Internet. Spoilers are everywhere.

The Last of Us Part II is set to be released on June 19th exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
