The Elder Scrolls Online Markarth DLC Announced (VIDEO)
Having experienced the multitude of content updates the Dark Heart of Skyrim series has to offer, including Stonethorn, Greymoor, Harrowstorm, the Coven series, and others, Bethesda revealed the grand finale content update. Announcing the Markarth DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, Bethesda presented a year-end preview of their plans for the remainder of 2020. Check out the preview below:
“When [players] get to Markarth, they’re going to get to walk around a city they’ve seen before except 800 years later,” said lead writer Bill Slavicsek. “So this is a different version of that same place – it’s going to feel familiar, it’s going to look familiar, but it’s also different and exciting and full of different people than you met the last you were there.”
Even though the Markarth DLC won’t be available until November, The Elder Scrolls Online community can partake in the Markarth Prologue questline before it launches. Available anybody who owns the game, simply acquire the House Ravenwatch Contract quest starter item from the Crown Store in-game to embark on the quest.
Bethesda and ZeniMax Online Studios described the prologue questline: “In the Markarth Prologue, you team up with Gwendis from the ESO base game and Stonethorn DLC to discover the ancient histories surrounding the supernatural army known as the Gray Host. Together, you uncover a terrible truth at the heart of the noble vampire House Ravenwatch and begin your fight against an evil that threatens not just Skyrim and the Reach, but all Tamriel.”
The Elder Scrolls Online: Markarth arrives November 2nd for PC, Mac, and Stadia then November 10th for Xbox One and PS5.
