New Horror Game From Until Dawn Devs, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, Release Date Announced
If you’re looking for a thrilling new horror game, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan might soothe that hankering for an adrenaline-rush. From the same developers that created Until Dawn, Supermassive Games and publisher Bandai Namco presenting a supernatural horror story that boards players on a “ghost ship” drifting along the waters of the South Pacific. In a fresh, new trailer below, the studio highlight’s the game general ambiance and the vital role decision-making will impact one’s gameplay experience:
“Every choice has repercussions – choose wisely,” reads a short caption below the video. Carried by the haunting voice of The Rigs’ vocalist in their soundtrack titled “Devil’s Playground,” The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan shows off just a few of the horrifying encounters players will have aboard a haunted ship. Based on the trailer alone, there will be twists and turns and unforeseen consequences based on seemingly inconsequential decisions like “go left” or “go right.” What awaits you in the ballroom, or the kitchen? What madness lurks around the corner?
Though it doesn’t arrive until later this year, Man of Medan is available for pre-order right now. Gamers that purchase before the release date will receive an exclusive early access pass to the Curator’s Cut, which includes “previously unavailable scenes with different playable characters,” new choices, and different outcomes. With that said, this will only remain exclusive until November 2019 at which time, the Curator’s Cut will become available for free to all upon completion of the game.
