After twenty long years of being shelved seemingly for good, Bandai officially announced a re-release in April and it just in: they’re coming to America. Unfortunately for those waiting on its imminent rebirth, Tamagotchi toys have already launched in the United Kingdom, but there need not be fear for their arrival has been announced for November 5th, 2017 in North America.

Nowadays, some companies are charging an arm and a leg for the precious nostalgia factor that comes with retro items, especially those who have decidedly become scalpers in the video game industry. Thankfully, Bandai revealed that these digital alien babies will run consumers about $15. There are even six different colorways available to choose from, which can be seen in the image below.

Tara Badie, marketing director of Bandai America, noted just how important it was to bring back a retro toy like this and stated:
