Canine fans can now rejoice – a dog version of The Good Life cat RPG is now in development! In hilarious, non-sarcastic, flashy Swery fashion, the announcement trailer for the puppers edition is to die for. It also happens to feature dogs. In essence, nothing about the plot or character in terms of development has changed, however, it is up to the player to make the choice – will it be cats or dogs? The most significant difference comes in the skills the player gets the chance to employ when seeking clues for the murder mystery and town exploration. A debt collection simulator isn’t all there is to The Good Life. Check it out below:

Perhaps the unfortunate aspect of The Good Life -Dogs- is that it will be sold as a different copy. Gamers looking to try out that dog’s life will have to purchase a separate one. Depending on where one’s priorities lie, it may very well be worth it to buy both! In the feline version, Naomi gets to explore vantage points like rooftops and “slip into cramped passages”. Meanwhile, dig holes and follow scent trails as man’s best friend. According to the game’s Fig crowdfunding page, there are also different items and interactions with villagers available during gameplay.

As for online multiplayer action, both The Good Life -Cats- and -Dogs- are compatible. Players can change into a cat or a dog regardless of which copy you purchased. Feel like you’re missing out on the goods and fun that comes with being a cat or dog, and don’t want to buy both? No worries, multiplayer has you covered.
