Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be getting its own version of the Pro Controller when the game releases this December. The controller comes as a limited edition item that can be bought by itself or bundled with a special edition copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

This special edition looks like it’ll come with a steelbook-esque minimalist case that features the enflamed Smash logo seen in the first teaser trailer for Smash Ultimate.  Check out the image below for a look at both:

You can Pre-Order the controller by itself at BestBuy right here. No word yet on where or when pre-orders for the Special Edition bundle will be going on sale, but stay tuned!

For Switch owners who don’t yet own a pro controller, this should be a really great value add. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a game that demands precision and more than a few players have said that they are worried that the regular single joy-cons won’t suffice for the kind of high-level play some players aspire to.

Luckily, the Pro Controller isn’t the only option for an alternative controller for the game, Nintendo announced during E3 that GameCube controllers would be compatible with the switch through the use of the Switch’s GameCube controller adapter and that Nintendo would be making a revitalized version of the controller adorned with a Smash logo.

Other controller manufacturer’s like PDP have also thrown their hats into the ring and are making similar controllers with features. They host a variety of different designs and colors as well as modular sticks, so players can smash any way they want.
