Star Wars Battlefront II’s New Co-op Update Arrives This Week (VIDEO)

Star Wars Battlefront II Clone Commando

Star Wars Battlefront II is launching a new co-op-heavy update on Sep. 25. The update will feature a brand new cooperative mode as well as a new class of clone and the new Felucia map from Revenge of the Sith. EA made the announcement via a new trailer for the game featuring all that’s to come in the update. Check it out below:

The new cooperation mode will allow you and three friends to play PvE throughout Star Wars Battlefront II Clone Wars maps. This includes the fungal planet of Felucia, which will be full of new hazards and flanking routes. Users will also be treated to new ‘Instant Action’ mode being added to the game. This is a casual command post capturing game type is for solo players only.

Possibly the most nostalgic part of the new update to Star Wars Battlefront II is the Clone Commando. He’s a tank of a clone trooper who hearkens back to the fan-favorite Republic Commando from 2005.  He comes with the same blaster from Republic Commando as well as a deadly grenade launcher and a damage increasing aura for nearby teammates.

Star Wars Battlefront II is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
