The Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta has Been Announced!
While the next installment in the overhauling of Star Wars’ Battlefront series isn’t set to hit stores until November, the hype train is just starting to reach maximum speed. With claims that its content is going to be absolutely massive compared to that of its predecessor, fans can’t help but get excited. Most recently, a teaser dropped in anticipation of the full trailer that will be revealed today, June 10, officially kicking off the 2017 E3 festivities. However, that was not the only thing to appear yesterday. It was also announced that a Battlefront 2 beta will be made available this fall.
No specifics have been given as to when the beta will go live, but one can only hope it is the first day of the season. Although, it was also revealed that those who pre-order the game will have early access to the Battlefront 2 beta. Of course, getting to try the title before everyone else isn’t the only perk to picking up the game in advance. According to the official site, here’s what you will receive for grabbing yours early:
- Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey
- Instant access to six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards
- Kylo Ren: Power Reach and Solid Freeze
- Rey: Far Sight and Deep Mind
- Starfighters: Enhanced Auxiliary Power and First Order ship upgrade
- Instant access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon with updated sounds and appearance
- Upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda
The exclusive outfits at the top of the above list will be for players who pre-order the title or pick up the Deluxe Edition. The new Star Wars game will officially launch on November 17 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Presumably, the Battlefront 2 beta will arrive before then. EA PLAY is set to kick off at 12 PM PT today, June 10. Don’t Feed the Gamers will be on the scene, so stay tuned to ensure you don’t miss what’s in store.
