Spider-Man PS4 Debuts Exciting Gameplay Launch Trailer (VIDEO)

Spider-Man PS4 Gameplay Launch Trailer

Insomniac Games has touted the biggest Spider-Man game ever made in the title’s lead-up to its launch, showcasing numerous character inclusions, web-slinging world traversal, and a compelling narrative following the fight against the villainous Mister Negative. As Spider-Man PS4 is now only a few weeks away, a new gameplay trailer has launched online showing off a fresh blend of epic in-game action.

The new footage begins with not-yet spider-person Miles Morales, as he receives some cheeky hero advice from the Peter Parker incarnation of Spidey. What follows is an explosive sizzle reel of the web-head’s energetic crime-stopping adventures in New York. We get thrilling peeks at boss battles with hulking crime-lord Kingin, the metallic beast Rhino, the tactical physicality of Silver Sable, as well as the overwhelming sting of the Scorpion. Check out the trailer below.

While the above video doesn’t offer too much outside what we’ve already seen, we can gather a few new insights based on some new inclusions. Miles Morales’ desire to take part in heroism may hint at an eventual superhero suit-up, and the assembly of all these villains suggests an even bigger evil bringing them together. We can make predictions of who that might be (ahem, Green Goblin), but we’ll likely only see the surprise unfold when Spider-Man hits PlayStation 4 on September 7th.
