SoulCalibur VI Shows Off Community-Made “Wizard Lizard” Character (VIDEO)
SoulCalibur VI is headed to release later this month and one of its most touted features (other than Geralt from The Witcher) is the game’s custom character creator. As a demonstration of the mode’s capabilities, publisher Bandai Namco put power in the hands of fans to fully construct a custom member of the game’s roster. Through a series of public polls, the SoulCalibur community would eventually give birth to a glorious fighter bearing the moniker of the “Wizard Lizard.”
Bandai Namco has now released a trailer featuring the community-built character in action. Sporting a Lizardman skin and welding powerful magical abilities, Wizard Lizard seems as bizarre as any fighter in the SoulCalibur series, but our scaly friend may just have the edge. The most obvious addition is the reptile’s considerable wingspan, but further strangeness can be found in Lizard’s demon horns/ cute kitty ears combo, because of course. Check it out below.
While the above character creation (and those darned kitty ears) is undoubtedly all that’s on players’ minds, the game will also feature a sweet roster of familiar fan-favorites to choose from. Recent weeks have unveiled characters such as the immortal purple pirate Cervantes, the fiery antagonist Inferno, and additional fighters like Tira to be included as DLC. Whether or not any of them will feature customizable cat ears has yet to be known, but we’ll surely check when SoulCalibur VI hits PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 19th.
Y’ALL VOTED FOR IT!
