Sniper Elite 4 Will Drop First DLC Pack for Deathstorm Tomorrow

Deathstorm

It’s been a month since Sniper Elite 4 hit shelves for fans everywhere, and Rebellions Developments is readying to release its first DLC pack for the title. Deathstorm, which is set to release in 3 parts, will drop its first installment tomorrow. It picks up immediately after the events of the main campaign. You, playing as Karl Fairburne, will have to infiltrate a German base in Northern Italy and take out a Destroyer battleship and its surrounding Kriegsmarine soldiers, which is no small feat!

Deathstorm will continue this campaign when parts two and three launch later this year. Part 2 is expected to release in late April, while part 3 will be released either in May or June. So far, it seems that the mini-campaign is only playable if you have the $35 season pass. Hopefully, we’ll get word from developers if it’s possible to play Deathstorm on its own later on. Speaking of the season pass, if you already own it, not only are you guaranteed all three parts of the campaign when they launch, but you will also receive an additional expansion called Night Fighter. This little bonus will include three new weapons, night-time camo skins for up to eight weapons, and new male and female character skins, plus a free multiplayer map called Night Woods. This is the first of many free maps to play from Rebellion Developments. For a closer look at what the new mini campaign looks like, check out this tweet from Sniper Elite 4:

Finally, the new DLC comes with a twist on the old multiplayer mode. In Elimination, teams of 6 vs. 6 can attempt to usurp the other players in brutal combat. The twist, however, is that if you die, you become a spectator to the match, but if your teammates manage to kill an enemy, they have the opportunity to tag a fallen comrade back into the game. It’s a pretty cool change on the usual elimination rounds of multiplayer, though we can only imagine how cutthroat the gaming experience can get!

As a sniper, timing is everything. The stakes of the war have been raised, and you, Karl Fairburne, are crucial to stopping the Axis powers from taking over in one of history’s most prolific wars. Will you be up to the task of stopping the Kriegsmarine soldiers? What do you think of the coming DLC pack tomorrow?
