Secret World Legends MMO Announces Brand New Chapter Coming Soon (VIDEO)

Norwegian-based studio Funcom recently announced a brand new chapter for their epic MMO, Secret World Legends. Following its grand launch in Summer 2017, players have long-anticipated the day when more content would arrive to the game. Thankfully, it’s coming soon. Dubbed Dawn of the Morninglight, the latest addition to the story-driven online RPG will take fans to South Africa.

The chapter will feature fully voiced missions, new enemies and creatures, location, and a story inspired by ancient folklore. The player’s job is to uproot the ominous cultist operations there and find out what exactly is going on. The introductory trailer below teases the story:

The fuse is lit. Philip Marquard, leader of the Morninglight, has been making moves in a hotbed of cultist operations: New Dawn. A mysterious text was sent to your phone. It’s time to come out of the shadows and spring into action. Infiltrate the New Dawn compound. Rise up within their ranks.”

After receiving a mysterious text, players will travel to South Africa and infiltrate the foundation of a cultist group called New Dawn. In an attempt to uproot their operations and discover what exactly is going on, you must work your way up. What exactly are they hiding? As seen in the teaser video above, there are shadow hyenas with glowing blue strips all across their bodies as well as pterodactyl-looking creatures to encounter. This will be a brand new location, story, and that means loads of other additional content too.

Secret World Legends: Dawn of the Morninglight will arrive April 4th, 2018. The base game is available for free to download and play. Have you played the base game?
