Plans For Sea Of Thieves Weekly Events And More Content Unveiled By Devs (VIDEO)

Sea of Thieves Weekly Events

Rare’s Sea of Thieves hasn’t seen the smoothest of launches, but that hasn’t stopped the studio from doing everything within their power to remain on course. That being said, the developers have recently discussed their plans for future Sea of Thieves weekly events and more content.

The latest installment of the Sea of Thieves Inn-side Story was all about content plans. The game has only been out for a few weeks, and while the beta was well-received by many, the experience post-launch was a bit on the underwhelming side of things. Rare’s plans include bringing new items and new rewards to the title as well as new gameplay mechanics. Weekly events are also brought up, which will provide players with glorious loot and adventures while out on the sea. Check it out in the video below:

First up will be The Hungering Deep, a content update that will introduce “a new AI threat to Sea of Thieves.” This will push crews to work together and claim victory over the new threat. Of course, new loot will be available to those who conquer the AI. This should provide plenty of reason to take to the sea with others.

Beyond The Hungering Deep, which is expected to arrive in early May, this Summer will see the game further evolve with new updates, Sea of Thieves weekly events, and just all around more content. Cursed Shores and Forsaken Shores will be introduced, each offering a new ship and new explorable areas, respectively. Plenty of glorious goodies remain to be added, but until then, players can hit the water in Sea of Thieves on Xbox One and Windows 10.
