Resident Evil Village Final Demo Window Extended
Less than two weeks remain before fans are able to get their hands on the next grand adventure in the Resident Evil series. Some players have had the opportunity to play Resident Evil Village a bit early through the various demos released, but it looks like the final demo will be given more time to be available instead of a super limited time.
Capcom recently took to the Resident Evil Twitter account to let fans know that some times have changed for the upcoming final demo for Resident Evil Village. Originally, the demo was going to allow players to enjoy 60 minutes of gameplay, but it could only happen with a 24-hour window. Following a bit of criticism from fans, Capcom has now changed the window by adding an entire week.
We’ve heard your feedback and are extending the availability period for the final 60-minute multi-platform #REVillage demo.
The original 24-hour window starting 5PM PDT May 1 (1AM BST May 2) has been increased by a week, and now ends at the same times on May 9 PDT (May 10 BST). pic.twitter.com/8VKEU8bMnu

Instead of ending the next day, the final demo for Resident Evil Village will now run from 5pm PT on May 1st until 5pm PT on May 9th in North America. For those in the UK, it will be from 1am BST on May 2nd to the same time on May 10th, with Europe’s demo running from 2am CEST on May 2nd to the same time on May 10th. This demo will be multi-platform and will allow players to check out both the castle and the surrounding village, but only for 60 minutes.
Resident Evil Village is set to officially launch on May 7th for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with the final demo beginning one week earlier.
