Resident Evil: Revelations‘ addition to the current console generation is nothing new for the series, as it has seemingly become a trend in recent years. The 2002 remake of the original Resident Evil was remastered for high definition just over a year ago, with the upcoming sequel being completely remade from the ground up. In fact, most games in the numbered series are all currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The newest game, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, came out this past January as part of the 20th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise.
