Alan Wake Developer, Remedey Entertainment, Expected to Make a Studio Announcement Soon
Remedy Entertainment, the masterminds behind amazing titles such as Alan Wake, Max Payne, and Quantum Break, just teased an upcoming announcement on Twitter through Thomas Puha’s Twitter. Puha is the Head of Communications and he lets fans in on what is in the coming future for this studio. The two tweets are as follows:
I am planning to do a blog post on our site with a short update on both of our projects before the end of the year.

We wont reveal either game until closer to launch. a dilemma, you want people to know what we working on (helps hiting) but quiet is good.

Short and sweet, much like the apparent announcement coming up. He mentions that it won’t be an official unveiling like the dramatic reveal of Red Dead Redemption 2, but it will be something for the fans to take comfort in knowing that Remedy is currently working on a few projects for gamers to enjoy.
The studio definitely knows how to keep the fan base guessing as they have been teasing upcoming projects for awhile now, even discussing the future of the beloved thriller Alan Wake’s future. Remedy Entertainment is also working on more multiplayer games per their announcement back in September,
We want to challenge ourselves to find ways to also expand these elements to include cooperative multiplayer. We will always strive to be the best storytellers we possibly can, and we want these stories to be shared and elevated through players’ cooperation. We believe that a multiplayer experience combined with Remedy’s unique world-building provides an exceptional environment for that.”
As a huge Alan Wake fan myself, I know what I personally want to see on the future roster. What about you? With several projects in the works, a few confirmed to be entirely new IPs, old favourites could definitely be making a comeback.
