Red Dead Redemption, Portal 2, And More Reveal Xbox One X Enhancements With New Videos

Gamers on the Xbox side of things have been getting treated fairly well lately. With more original titles making their way to new consoles via backwards compatibility, fans are beginning to enjoy some of their favorite games from years ago, but on updated hardware. That being said, Microsoft’s Xbox One X has allowed developers to enhance their older games for the current generation. The latest batch to receive some glorious enhancements include Red Dead Redemption, Portal 2, and more!

In a handful of new video, we get a good look at what sort of enhancements have been added to the games. Each title has been brought into the realm of 4K, with improved frame rates and deliciously crisp textures included. Check out the comparison videos below to see exactly how much of an improvement has been made with each of these titles. Plus, we get a little gameplay action for Portal 2 and Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare:

The news of the Xbox One X enhancements arrived during the most recent Inside Xbox episode, where they also revealed some glorious details about Gears of War 2. From now on, all DLC for the game will be completely free of charge. With the title also being available on the Game Pass service, this is surely going to be a crowd-pleaser.
