Razer Reveals New 'Absolute Control' Viper Gaming Mouse

High-end gaming peripheral company Razer is at it again, this time moving away from offering new color schemes of older products to deliver a brand new product to the masses. Said new product this time around is the Razer ‘Viper’ mouse, with the tagline of ‘Absolute Control’ that will enable its users to dominate on the field of battle with its combination of high precision and cutting-edge, lightweight body.

Revealed over on the official website, the Chroma-enabled Viper features an ambidextrous design that comes in at just 69 (nice) grams. It also features Razer’s staple optical mouse switches and a 5G high-end optical sensor, which offers 99.4% tracking accuracy and up to 16,000 DPI. In the pursuit of minimal drag, the Viper also comes equipped with Razer’s Speedflex cable, a highly flexible cable designed to bring “unhindered control with minimal drag.”

On the customizable side of things, the Viper offers onboard DPI storage, which can house up to 5 custom DPI stages that can be switched on the fly as needed. A dedicated DPI button is located on the underside of the mouse, designed to prevent accidental DPI switches while gaming. In the company’s typical fashion, there are also up to 8 programmable buttons that can be set for macros and other commands using Razer Synapse 3.

The Razer Viper is now available for purchase right here at a price point of $79.99. Looking to elevate your gameplay even further? Check out the new consumable Respawn mental performance drink right here.
