Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Fake Movie Trailer Is The Best Thing We’ve Seen All Day (VIDEO)

Battlegrounds Movie

One of the biggest games of the year, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), has an incredible amount of active players. The title is continuously gaining traction and is set to make a console appearance in the near future. With new players joining the fight on the regular, veterans are sometimes charged with the task of having a newcomer join their team, which could result in some disastrous results. Thanks to a fan-made trailer for a Battlegrounds movie, we can see just how insanely frustrating a new player can be. Check out the hilarious “trailer” below:

The video was uploaded by popular YouTube user nigahiga, and runs for just under seven minutes long. The fake Battlegrounds movie trailer highlights the frustrations of playing PUBG for the first time, as well as the frustrations seasoned players face while teamed up with newcomers. A great start to the montage is that of the new player ejecting before the rest of the team has decided on a landing zone, forcing the remainder of the team to eject early.

Once the team figures out where they are, they decide on a direction to head toward. This leads us to the scene with the “noob” having a rather difficult time entering a vehicle. We’ve all been there, which brings about a chuckle that disguises an internal rage like no other. Once the vehicle situation finally gets resolved, the team finds themselves looting a house, where Brian seems to have passed up an entire room filled with gear, and only grabs a frying pan. WTF, Brian?

After dealing with the inevitable, “what happens if I touch the blue stuff?” the team is caught in a deadly firefight with the last few remaining survivors. With two teammates downed, the “noob” begins firing recklessly, and then at the deathcam, which he believes are ghosts. That’s hilarious, I don’t care who you are. The match ends with an incredibly lucky frying pan hit to the head, which brings up the infamous “WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER” prompt, proving that even newcomers can get lucky, even in a Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds movie.

PUBG is available now on PC, and is expected to release on Xbox One via Games Preview some time this year. What did you think of the fake Battlegrounds movie trailer? Does the fan made trailer provide an accurate depiction of the frustrations in the game? Are you eagerly awaiting the console release? Let us know in the comments section below.
