A Project Scorpio Listing has Emerged on the Microsoft Store
Microsoft has been teasing an upgraded Xbox for the better part of a year now. Tentatively dubbed “Project Scorpio”, not many details are known about the new system outside its supreme superiority over the original Xbox One in almost all respects. Microsoft has promised time and again the unreleased console’s destiny to be the most powerful console ever made. Recently, a product page has gone live on the Microsoft website that contains a Project Scorpio listing, carrying on that ambitious pledge:
- The most powerful console ever with 6 teraflops of graphical processing power
- The first and only console to enable true 4K gaming and high-fidelity virtual reality
- Compatible with all Xbox One games and accessories
Last month, Microsoft announced their attendance of this year’s E3 where they strongly hinted at plans to reveal much more about the mega-console. The “Xboss” himself Phil Spencer confirmed in a recent interview that a Scorpio presence will be felt at the highly-publicized Expo.
“I can’t wait to show people what it looks like.”
Other than sharing its initiative, the newly discovered Project Scorpio listing on the Microsoft Store page also has the ability to pre-order up to five Scorpio consoles as well as an e-mail address forum where one can sign up to be notified about future Project Scorpio news. Theoretically, you wouldn’t need to sign up for that, because, as you know, DFTG will have all of your Xbox news needs covered.
