Exclusive Pre-Black Friday GameStop Deals Now Available
As the holiday season slowly creeps up on us, so too do the seemingly never-ending barrage of time-sensitive deals from companies competing for your hard-earned money. That said, sometimes said deals are pretty awesome and worth your time, which brings us to the recently announced pre-Black Friday GameStop deals. Announced as its ‘Pro Days’ event, the GameStop sale runs now through November 12, and is only available to PowerUp Rewards Pro or Elite members. The weekend sale event features discounts on hardware, games, and bundles, with a cool tag line of “over $2,300 in savings”.
Arguably the biggest of its pre-Black Friday GameStop deals is the added incentives when purchasing an Xbox One S bundle. Those purchasing one of said bundles receive a free game of their choice and a $50 store gift card, which us pretty awesome considering that most Xbox One S bundles come with at least one game on its own. On the TV hardware front, GameStop is also offering a 1 TB Xbox One S console, bundled with a Samsung 40″ 4K TV for $300 off. While GameStop seems to be leaning a little heavy onto the Microsoft side of things, it all makes sense given the recent release of the Xbox One X.
GameStop is also discounting a bunch of games, some of which are newer releases. Both Destiny 2 and Middle Earth: Shadow of War are on sale for $40, while several ‘collections’ of games – such as for Bioshock, Assassin’s Creed, and Borderlands – are currently 50% off. In addition to the game discounts, GameStop is also discounting things like console peripherals, apparel, and collectibles. And last but not least, it wouldn’t be a GameStop sale if the company isn’t offering extra trade-in credit for used games. Through the end of the sale, GameStop is offering 30% more credit on used games and peripherals.
