Pokemon Quest Gets Release Date For Mobile Devices – A Cubic Pokemon Adventure Awaits
There’s really never a time Pokemon isn’t in the news and that’s not a bad thing! Among the flurry of related news, Pokemon Quest was just announced for a mobile debut on Android and iOS devices. Initially released on the Nintendo Switch as a family-friendly title for fans and children to enjoy, there’s another platform folks can enjoy the game while on-the-go. This entire idea may seem silly to some fans out there, this is just another way for new generation Pokemon Trainers to get in on the action of a timeless franchise. Plus, kids love that pixelated and cube shaped aesthetic. We’re not sure why, but it’s a thing and there’s less than a week away before release. Check out the announcement below:

The one drawback to this game is the inability to cross-play between the Nintendo Switch and the mobile device of choice. In other words, save data stored in the hybrid device cannot be transferred so players will have to start from scratch. Want to know more about Pokemon Quest? Check out the official website here and a brief description below:
The Pokémon you know and love have turned into…cubes?! Head out in search of treasure with your cube-shaped Pokémon buddies on Tumblecube Island—a land where everything is a cube! Your goal is to find the awesome goodies said to be hidden on the island! The Pokémon you know and love from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue appear in this game.”
Trainers can participate in Pokemon battles with simple tapping motions and there’s no shortage of danger around Tumblecube island. Like the copious versions of series related games out there, players can capture Pokemon to create their own team of unstoppable friends. Set up a base camp and have fun decorating for those down times between adventures.
Pokemon Quest arrives on June 27th, 2018 for Android and iOS devices. Pre-registrations are available now on their respective applications stores, and ready to play right now on the Nintendo Switch.
