Sir Paul McCartney himself, most recognized as the singer and bassist from the Beatles, is taking on the pirate’s life in the upcoming film for the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Check him out in all of his costumed glory in the image below:

Though it was already known that McCartney would be a part of the next pirates film, there have been some readjustments aa to what his role will be according to directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg. According to the pair, they have added another “big set-piece” scene just for him. Not too bad for his first real film role as an actor, not a musician.
Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales sets sale this May on the 26th in theaters and IMAX everywhere. Depp, Bloom, and Geoffrey Rush are all returning among others to reprise their famous roles with Javier Bardem coming in as the big bad, Captain Salazar.
