October 2018 is shaping to be the start of quite a busy season for gamers. The month will kick off with the release of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and it will end with the arrival of the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2. Both of these games will be available for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners, but subscribers can take advantage of their membership bonuses to pass the time until then. Microsoft has announced the October 2018 Games With Gold titles that will be free to subscribers soon and the list contains several Hits, Man!

Microsoft Director of Programming Larry Hyrb recently took to his official Twitter account to announce the new October 2018 Games with Gold titles. After acknowledging the somewhat early announcement of October’s new Game Pass titles, Hyrb opted to gift subscribers with their new freebies – Overcooked! and Victor Vran. For those unaware, Victor Vran is an RPG where players control the titular demon-hunter Victor Vran. This will become available starting October 16th. Meanwhile, Overcooked! is a popular co-operative party style game of kitchen mayhem that has livened many a get together for gamers, and will be available beginning October 1st.

For Xbox 360 owners, Stuntman: Ignition and Hitman: Blood Money will be up for grabs. As a bonus, these games will also work on Xbox One. This is quite a solid lineup of free games for loyal subscribers and speaks to the great value found in Games with Gold.
