A new month is closing in, which can only mean one thing – free games are inbound. Sony has released the October 2017 PlayStation Plus lineup and players are in for a treat. With titles like Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain and Amnesia: Collection leading the pack on the PS4, gamers will have more than enough glorious gaming goodness to get them through the month. Let’s dive right in!

First up, players will get their hands on MGSV: Phantom Pain and assume the role of Snake after he awakes from a coma that he spent nearly a decade in. The year is 1984, Mother Base has fallen, and Big Boss is hellbent on revenge. In order to take shadow group XOF to task, he develops a new private army ready to carry out any order necessary. Lauded for it’s cinematic storytelling and immersive gameplay, Phantom Pain is sure to be a hit in anyone’s collection.

Next up for the October 2017 PlayStation Plus lineup is Amnesia: Collection. Featuring both The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs, this bundle of games is perfect for fans of things that go bump in the night. After all, it is the spookiest month of the year. Take on the identity of Daniel and then step into the shoes of Oswald Mandus in this frightening one-two punch of nightmare fuel.

Of course, those aren’t the only two game that are included with your PS Plus subscription. Monster Jam Battlegrounds and Hustle Kings will both be available on the PlayStation 3, while Hue(Cross Buy with PS4) and Sky Force Anniversary(Cross Buy with PS3,PS4) will be up for grabs on the PS Vita.
