Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase Reveals New Switch Games Including Exclusives (VIDEO)

Yesterday marked the release of the Nintendo Switch Nindies showcase, a video that details some of the indie games players can expect on the new console. The list is extensive enough, with some exciting additions that include a few exclusives. Gamers anticipating the release of the system will have more to look forward to and you can see for yourself in the video below:

The showcase features a number of titles including SteamWorld Dig 2 from Bit.Trip which will be available this summer, Shakedown Hawaii coming in April, and a game called Wargroove from the developers of Starbound coming later this year with one to four player online support. Blaster Master sequel “Zero” is expected to be a Nintendo exclusive with new systems and a two player mode for March 9th. A lot of the games featured are expected to launch this year, though specific dates were not given for some of the titles in the Nintendo Switch Nindies showcase.

March and April are expected to see a few arrivals along with Blaster Master Zero, including another Chucklefish title Pocket Rumble in March, Mr. Shifty, a teleportation stealth action game in April, and a side-scrolling shooter called Graceful Explosion Machine. The last two are timed exclusives for the Nintendo Switch. New games aren’t all as Nintendo also announced they will be the first console to offer multiplayer support in Stardew Valley.

More than 60 games are expected to release for the Switch this year, according to the Nintendo Switch Nindies broadcast. Good news for those anticipating the upcoming system launch with concerns on whether or not there will be enough games to enjoy on the new console.
