New Nintendo Direct Finally Happening Soon, Here’s How To Watch

Next Nintendo Direct

It may feel like Nintendo Direct presentations were asleep for 100 years, but the wait for another one is now surprisingly short. Hyperbole aside, Nintendo has finally announced a new Direct showcase that will be happening in the very near future.

Taking to Twitter, it was revealed that a new Nintendo Direct livestream will be taking place on February 17th at 5pm ET. That’s right, there will finally be a new Direct and according to Nintendo, it will show “roughly 50 minutes of information focused on available games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and games coming to Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2021.”

Of course, a lot can be revealed over the course of 50 minutes, but we don’t have any specifics at this time. According to the tweet, we will be getting details about something related to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but that’s the only title specified. It is also important to note that the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda is Sunday, February 21st, so there is a good chance we could be seeing something from that universe.

Either way, no matter what they have planned for the Nintendo Direct, one key piece of information worth noting is where to watch the showcase. Luckily, you don’t have to go far as it will premiere on Nintendo’s website, YouTube, or you can stick around here as it will be embedded below. The show will start at 5pm ET/2pm PT on February 17th.

It’s exciting to think of all the things we might see during the new Nintendo Direct presentation, but we still have a handful of hours to wait. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we learn more, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
