Mortal Kombat 11 Terminator Gameplay Revealed In New Trailer (VIDEO)
The new Mortal Kombat movie may currently be in the full swing of filming, but the violent fighting franchise is also in the midst of a stride. Following the August debut of Nightwolf, Mortal Kombat 11 is now all set to bring four more fighters into the fold starting with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s legendary portrayal of The Terminator. As promised, a fresh showcase of footage has now been revealed, depicting Arnie’s unstoppable killing machine doing what he does best.
The new character-focused trailer provides a nice look at The T-800’s fighting style, delivering a barrage of powerful melee and gunfire-based attacks in addition to a few choice one-liners. Though not the recognizable voice of Schwarzenegger, the showcase appears to capture stoic cyborg nicely, the character even able to revert down to his metallic skeleton form. This brutality is especially on display in the character’s Fatality, which sees an opponent cut off at the knees and sent forward to the Terminator apocalypse. Check out the trailer footage below.
With the new Terminator DLC confirmed for release on October 8th, Mortal Kombat 11 still has three confirmed characters left to join the deadly tournament: the screaming queen Sindel, scheming Batman villain The Joker, and Keith David-voiced comic hero Spawn. Of course, there’s even more on the way in the form of the 3v1 Team Raid mode as well as an all-new Krypt event teased to be “Koming Soon” by MK11 Creative Director Ed Boon.
