Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn Skins Revealed (VIDEO)

Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn Skins

NetherRealm Studios recently unveiled the latest and last touted member of the Mortal Kombat 11 roster: the demonic Image Comics superhero Spawn. The character itself is a sight to behold, with a myriad of weapon-based and magical abilities as well as a majestic cape that fully completes the look of the legendary hellspawn. Just like Joker before him, Spawn’s moves, quotes, and overall appearance pull from decades of comic book source material – including when it comes to the character’s array of available skins.

As revealed in a recent post to the PlayStation Blog, MK11 players will be able to assemble various costumes from throughout Spawn’s history, from the likes of his gun-toting mercenary look, to his more mystical base outfit, and to the character’s original look from his early-90s debut. As a bonus, NetherRealm looks to even prepared a Mortal Kombat-inspired Spawn skin, meshing the classic hellish look of the hero with the martial arts ninja style of the fighting game series. Check out all four skins in the Gfycat album below.

In addition to the several Spawn skins shown above, the character’s debut has also signaled the arrival of several other MK11 skins. A female skin variant of Spawn is set to become available for firepower-based character Jacqui Briggs – bearing the name of ‘Hellspawn.’ The game will also offer the Matinee Skin Pack, which decks out a trio of roster members with costumes inspired by the golden age of movies. These include “Osh Tekk Vandal” Kotal Kahn, an Indiana Jones-esque “Swashbuckler” Erron Black, and a “Space Marine” version of Jacqui Briggs.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Spawn – in addition to the Hellspawn and Matnee Skin Pack – will unlock for Kombat Pack owners on March 17th, while the rest of players will get the character on March 24th.
