Rumor: Mortal Kombat 11 Replaced Ash Williams With Joker
With all of the rumors and leaks surrounding Mortal Kombat 11 since before it even launched earlier this year, fans have seemingly already figured out the entire roster for the latest installment in the long running franchise. While the majority of the leaks have already been confirmed, there appears to be one character’s status that remains a mystery, and it is that of none other than Ash Williams.
You may likely know the iconic character from the Evil Dead series, and you may also know how he has been making the rounds in the gaming world as of late, even finding his way into popular title Dead by Daylight. That said, according to a discovery made by a user on Test Your Might, it would seem that Ash was meant to be part of the first Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 11, but was replaced by Joker.
As can be seen in the image above from the Test Your Might user, they came across this ad that showed Ash Williams as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack roster. However, as we all know by now, that is not the case as Joker is the fighter included with the pack along with Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Terminator, Sindel, and Spawn.
So, where is Ash Williams? Was he pulled from the roster at the last minute and this ad found its way to the game? Is this just the developers trolling fans? Will he be added to the game in the future? Only time will tell.
