Marvel's Avengers "Earth's Mightiest Edition" Revealed

New York Comic Con has been quite the thrilling event for those that have been looking forward to Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers game. The Japanese publisher took to the stage yesterday to announce loads of exciting new details, while also debuting a brand new gameplay trailer revealing that Kamala Khan AKA Ms. Marvel would be the game’s sixth playable character and focal protagonist. During the proceedings, the publisher also revealed the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers “Earth’s Mightiest Edition” version of the game.

During the exclusive presentation at New York Comic Con, Square Enix unveiled the first details of the “Earth’s Mightiest Edition” version of Marvel’s Avengers. While the publisher themselves did not share a photo online, the folks over at Comic Book posted a shot they took while at the event. Check it out below:

Marvel's Avengers "Earth's Mightiest Edition" Revealed

From left to right we can see some Iron Man blueprints and a Steelbook for the game followed by Black Widow’s symbol, a Captain America statue, Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir in the form of a keychain, a Hulk bobblehead, the Avengers emblem, and a photo of the Avengers with Kamala Khan. According to the photo, the items shown are “inspired by actual in-game events and items,” and as such I wouldn’t be surprised if Ms. Marvel herself had a fancy Mjolnir keychain. It is still unknown how much this edition will cost, though we’ll likely hear more from Square Enix once the Comic Con event ends tomorrow.

Marvel’s Avengers releases on May 15, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
