March 2017 Free Xbox One/360 Games with Gold Announced! (VIDEO)

Free Xbox One/Xbox 360 Games with Gold

Each month, Xbox Live Gold members are treated to myriad of goodness. Usually, it comes in the form of discounts and free games for players to download through Games with Gold. While February’s titles are still up for grabs, March’s free Xbox One/Xbox 360 games have just been revealed, and they are some good ones!

The free Xbox One offerings for March are Layers of Fear and Evolve. The former is a single-player psychological horror game while the latter is a 4v1 single-player/multiplayer first person shooter with humans battling against monsters. You can check them out below:

Layers of Fear (March 1 – 31)

Evolve (March 16 – April 15)

Next, we arrive at the doorstep of what the Xbox 360 will be putting up for grabs in March. Borderlands 2 is the wildly popular action role-playing first person shooter that is just as loved today as it was when it was released five years ago. Heavy Weapon is a side-scrolling shoot ’em up in which you employ a plethora of exceptional artillery to dispose of enemy planes and tanks. You will find videos for them below:

Borderlands 2 (March 1 – 15)

Heavy Weapon (March 16 – 31)

Not a bad haul for the month of March. Luckily, if you are the proud owner of an Xbox One, you’ll get to enjoy all four of the titles because both Borderlands 2 and Heavy Weapon are playable through backwards compatibility. If you’re a 360 owner, at least you get Borderlands 2 because that game is the kneesiest of bee’s knees.

What say you, Xbox players? Looking forward to any of these titles? Which one are you most excited for? Let us know down in the comments section below or join us in conversation over on our Disqus! If none of these games tickle your fancy, perhaps this will. Overwatch‘s next hero was possibly revealed, but it raised more questions than it answered.
