WATCH: This Madden 18 Commercial Will Make You Want The Xbox One X … And A Fish Guy
There is no denying that companies within the video game industry have enjoyed advertising their products in interesting ways over the years. Microsoft has certainly been at the front of the class with some of their TV spots of yesteryear, like this gem. That being said, 2018 is a fresh new start for the juggernaut to keep the weirdness coming, starting with the recently released Madden 18 commercial that makes one wonder if they should get a fish guy.
Of course, the Madden 18 commercial isn’t here to sell people on a fish guy, but instead the power of the Xbox One X. The video features Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch going Beast Mode on… talking to his hand? Yes, that’s exactly what he does. In fact, the clip isn’t really about football or the Xbox One X at all. It’s just Lynch having a casual conversation with his hand. Check it out for yourself below:
This isn’t the first time that #BabyBeastMode appeared in a video with Lynch. Just last month, a different clip popped up featuring the running back and his talking hand, with the duo reminiscing about an evening they had together at a karaoke steakhouse. Either way, the message is very clear: Madden NFL 18 apparently runs best on Microsoft’s latest console. After all, selling a football game and the Xbox One X goes hand-in-hand with singing and steak.
Madden NFL 18 and the Xbox One X are both available now. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we anticipate more “Me and Marshawn” videos, and for other gaming news, check out the following:
