Little Nightmares 2 Gameplay Trailer Debut (VIDEO)

Little Nightmares 2

Little Nightmares 2 is a continuation of the award winning and highly acclaimed game Little Nightmares. The second game in the franchise was originally announced at Gamescom last year. Now we have a first look at what game play will look like!

The trailer features both Six from the original game and Mono, a new character who’s face is also shrouded and follows the pair sneaking past gargantuan humanoid figures in grim and cerebral environments, all while being chased, jumping from ledges and solving puzzles. The trailer also seems to give us a bit more insight into the beloved Six as we see her equip her signature yellow jacket.

Unlike the original Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2 seems to add additional outdoor environments and introduces a slew of new characters in the form of the teacher who is seen throughout the video. Another reoccurring object in the trailer is an older television with a display of static which is seen multiple times throughout.

The main location of exploration for both Six and Mono will be the Signal Tower which Dave Merik, the Senior Narrative Designer of Tarsier Studios has stated is the main location for the narrative.

Little Nightmares 2 was originally planned to be released this year but the new planned release date will be February 11th, 2021 and will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. The game will released on next-gen consoles at a later date.
