LawBreakers Release Date Announced – New Trailer Debuts at PC Gaming Show (VIDEO)

LawBreakers release date

LawBreakers is the gravity-defying shooter that is sure to put Boss Key Productions on the map. For those not in the know, Boss Key is the new studio from Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski. Cliffy B, as he is affectionately known, took to the stage during the PC Gaming Show at this year’s E3 to reveal something everyone has been waiting for – the LawBreakers release date. But first, let’s talk a bit about the game.

Be the Law or the Breakers in this quicker-than-quick-paced team-based FPS, destroying every enemy in your way to ensure your group claims victory. With a plethora of weapons, various characters, and a handful of maps and game modes, the upcoming title is sure to kick all sorts of ass. Check out the new trailer below:

The LawBreakers release date is set for August 8, 2017, which is a lot closer than some have speculated. However, with all of the beta testing going on, it should have been expected. The game will launch at $29.99 on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4. In the words of Cliffy B himself, it is “none of that $60 multiplayer-only bullshit.” Fans will get a chance to try out the game before purchasing it with the Rise Up PC beta event. The final closed beta will be available on June 28, and it will be opened to the public on June 30.

What say you, gamers? Have any of you been able to try out the freshman effort from Boss Key? What are your thoughts on the LawBreakers release date? Are you glad that Bleszinski is of the thought process that $60 is ridiculous for a multiplayer-only game?
