Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Release Date Revealed With New Trailer (VIDEO)
Ember Lab announced Kena: Bridge of Spirits in June of last year, showing off the upcoming game that appears to be inspired by the likes of Studio Ghibli films and games such as the Zelda series and more. Unfortunately, development hit a snag last year, which delayed the game to 2021, but a new trailer has officially revealed when the upcoming adventure will be released.
During the recent State of Play, Sony and partners showed off a couple new games as well as updates on already-announced titles, including Kena: Bridge of Spirits. The new trailer features some fresh gameplay that will be part of the experience. In addition to the gameplay, we also get some story details for the upcoming title. However, what may be most exciting for fans, we also learn that Kena will be arriving on August 24th for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Check out the trailer for yourself below:
Taking to the PlayStation Blog, Ember Lab COO Josh Grier offered up details about pre-order bonuses that will be available for consumers. First off, players who pre-order Kena: Bridge of Spirits will “receive a very special pack of Celebration hats,” according to Grier. As it turns out, there will be dozens of hats hidden throughout the game that players will be able to customize their team with, but the Celebration hats are a pre-order exclusive.
In addition to this, the Digital Deluxe Edition ($49.99) will include the Digital Soundtrack as well as a silver staff for Kena and golden Rot skin. The Standard Edition of Kena: Bridge of Spirits will cost $39.99, with all editions of the game entitling owners to both the Digital PS4 and Digital PS5 versions of the game.
