Jump Force: Card Summons For Yugi Confirmed
Last week we got word that Yugi Muto of the legendary anime and trading card game Yu-Gi-Oh! would be joining the Jump Force roster. While many fans of the series cried out in glee for the announcement, it had people wondering how it would work. Confirmed by Bandai Namco, it seems Yugi will be able to summon three different monsters during his battles in Jump Force.
The line-up of cards so far is his signature Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, and Slifer the Sky Dragon. Bandai Namco hasn’t confirmed any moves for the fighters thus far, but with the variety in characters available in one package, it’s safe to assume that Yugi will be a versatile fighter, who can switch out which card he has active on the fly to accommodate any situation. Check out some cool images of each of these monsters below:

While we don’t yet know how each of these characters will play, there are a couple speculative guesses. Dark Magician Girl might be a character focused on speed and DPS. Since she is what is known as an “Effect” card, she benefits from having other Magician cards in play. Dark Magician might be a balanced card with good attack and decent speed. The gargantuan Silaf, a freaking Sky Dragon, seems to be a character of immense power that will be easy to hit since he’s so dang big.
