We all have our fandoms of choice. Most of us have multiple comics, video games, movies, books, and TV shows that we relentlessly obsess about. When we geek out over our fandoms, we start to look for unique ways to express our love for them. One such way is finding handcrafted items at conventions or on sites such as Redbubble or Etsy. As luck would have it, an Etsy shop owner has created the ultimate party game for fans of the Harry Potter series, titled Cards Against Muggles. This, of course, is based on the popular game Cards Against Humanity (CAH).

Forbidden Forest is based out of St. Petersburg, Florida and creates awesome hand crafted gifts for every kind of nerd. Some of their items include coasters, bumper stickers, jewelry, and foam board signs that are based on popular sci-fi and fantasy shows, movies, etc. The most recent addition to their inventory is the Harry Potter-based Cards Against Muggles, which received an overwhelmingly positive reaction on social media.

Around 9:00 AM PDT on March 14, Forbidden Forest posted photos of their new item with details on how to order the ultimate Harry Potter party game. A little over 24 hours had passed and the small company updated the post stating:

“Hi everyone! Due to the high volume of emails and messages, please give us a few days to get back to you. We will keep you posted on any updates. Thank you for understanding!

UPDATE: SOLD OUT! Thank you everyone!

This is a homemade game and we had no idea of the level of interest! We will keep you updated!”

The set includes 492 white cards and 180 black cards, which are a smaller size than those used in CAH. The game is currently sold out, but the crafters are working to get more orders filled. There is currently a waiting list which you can sign up for if you’re interested in purchasing the game. Cards Against Muggles is currently selling in the US for $55 plus shipping and handling, which comes out to about $69. The company is currently looking into international shipment options. According to Forbidden Forest, they are quite surprised at the reaction the game has received.
