Hitman: Sniper Assassin Leaked By Australian and Korean Rating Boards

IO Interactive

For fans of the long-running Hitman series, on both console and mobile, it looks quite possible that Hitman Sniper Assassin may be the next title for the franchise. This news comes from two rating board leaks in Australia and Korea, both giving some minor details about the title. Of course, no announcement has come from publisher IO Interactive, we’re still awaiting that final green light.

According to the Australian leak, Hitman Sniper Assassin is categorized as a Computer game possessing strong violence and online interactivity. Mild sex and moderate themes are also present, putting the game in its usual wheelhouse. The game was classified in Australia on February 9th, 2018 with an MA 15+ classification.

The Korean leak notes that Hitman Sniper Assassin is at least coming to the PlayStation 4. The application was put in by Korean developer Inplay Interactive, a partner of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and was classified on April 25th. Whether the game will be available on other platforms isn’t clear, however, the Australian leak suggests it is “multiplatform” and so it may also be available on the Xbox One and PC – maybe even the Switch, but don’t hold your breath.

With E3 inching closer to starting, there is a good chance that we might get a reveal in June. If that is the case fans will get a lot more information about what Hitman Sniper Assassin will be about, and when fans can expect a release. Until then, keep up with Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story, and others, develop.
