Grounded Adds New Underwater Biome With A Giant Fish (VIDEO)

Grounded Update Underwater Biome Big Fish

Players have been taking to the digital backyard of Obsidian Entertainment’s Grounded as tiny versions of people for some time now, but it looks like the experience just got a bit better. This is all thanks to a new update that has not only added an underwater biome, but also one very large fish.

The new Grounded update, which is aptly named The Koi Pond Update, adds a bit more to the overall experience by making the underwater portions more interesting. They’ve been able to accomplish this by adding new secrets for players to discover, new items to craft, new enemies, the spiders can swim, and a giant koi fish. Well, it’s regular-sized fish, but you get the idea. Did I mention that the spiders can swim? Well, they can.

“Like everything in Grounded, The Koi Pond is a work in progress, and we want to incorporate your feedback to make it the best it can be,” reads the developer’s update. “This is just the start of development of this area, and our team is already hard at work adding more into the pond, including a large revamp of the lab in the depths which will add more content and variety of gameplay.”

They then go on to note that included with all of their work, they are chipping away at new points of interest, new materials, new content, and more for all areas in Grounded. This will be some of what is included in the December update for the game. Following the Pond, the devs will then place a focus on areas such as the Haze and the Sandbox. After this, they will then begin working on the story. Needless to say, there is much more to come for the backyard survival adventure.

Grounded is currently available in Early Access on PC via Steam, Xbox Game Pass, and the Microsoft Store as well as Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
