Gears 5 Players Receive Bonus Loot Following Early Access Issues

Gears 5 Enemy

For those who were able to play Gears 5 a bit early thanks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the road was a bit bumpy. Server issues popped up, essentially making the game unplayable. While it wasn’t a constant thing, The Coalition felt it was best that everyone who got to play early received some bonus loot to make up for the problems.

The Gears 5 devs recently took to Twitter to reveal that Early Access players will be awarded five days of Boost, which will provide bonus XP for the duration of the boost, as well as 600 Scrap, the in-game currency that is used to craft cosmetic items. According to the studio, this bonus loot should appear within the next 24 hours.

In case you don’t know what the freshly released Gears 5 has to offer, here’s more:

“From one of gaming’s most acclaimed sagas, Gears is bigger than ever, with five thrilling modes and the deepest campaign yet. With all-out war descending, Kait Diaz breaks away to uncover her connection to the enemy and discovers the true danger to Sera – herself.”

Gears 5 is currently available on PC and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
