Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1 Overview Revealed

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1 Overview Revealed

While the folks over at Square Enix are undoubtedly still riding the high of the successful launch of Final Fantasy XIV’s Endwalker expansion, game director Naoki Yoshida and his team are hard at work on what’s to come. The upcoming content will hit the game in Patch 6.1, the first major patch since the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker last year. Square Enix has revealed an overview of the major patch, confirming that players can look forward to new Main Scenario Quests, a new dungeon, new trials, a new raid, and more.

As revealed over on the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker site, Patch 6.1 is going to be filled to the brim with content for all those players that have long since finished doing their weekly Pandæmonium runs, snagged their Radiant gear, and are now more or less afk in Limsa Lominsa waiting for new things to do. The writer does not fit that particular category as he is exceedingly lazy. Moving on, here’s the bullet list of all the goodies coming in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1:

  • New Main Scenario Quests
  • New Sidequests – Tataru’s Grand Endeavor
  • New Tribe Quests – The Arkasodara (Patch 6.15)
  • Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures (Patch 6.15)
  • Omega: Beyond the Rift (Patch 6.1x)
  • Improvements to A Realm Reborn Main Scenario Quests (Patch 2.0 Only)
  • Duty Support System
  • New Dungeon
  • New Trial – The Endsinger’s Aria
  • New Unreal Trial – Ultima’s Bane
  • New Alliance Raid – Myths of the Realm Part 1
  • New Ultimate Duty – Dragonsong’s Reprise (Patch 6.11)
  • New PvP Content – Crystalline Conflict
  • New Custom Deliveries – Ameliance (Patch 6.15)
  • New Residential District – Empyreum
  • Adventurer Plates
  • The Unending Codex
  • Data Center Travel (Patch 6.18)
  • Additional New Game+ Chapters
  • Feature to try on items from the FFXIV Online Store
  • New Mounts, Minions, and Emotes

The bullet list ends with “…and more!” so it’s likely that players can look forward to a few job adjustments, bug fixes, and maybe even some as yet unannounced goodies. If anyone needs me I’ll be on Mateus, hopping back onto that Pandæmonium and tomestone grind.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is currently available for PC, PS4, and PS5.
