A Brand New Final Fantasy XII Remaster Story Trailer Drops – The Zodiac Age (VIDEO)

Square Enix dropped a new cinematic trailer to showcase the differences in the overall narrative and altered cinematics for the upcoming Final Fantasy XII remaster. The sound and visuals were both visibly enhanced for this venture, both narratively and with the soundtrack. Check out the Zodiac Age video below and see the differences for yourself:

Here are a few of the other additional changes made to the title overall to enhance playability:

  • Faster loading times
  • Auto saves
  • Speed mode
  • Trial mode
  • Zodiac Job System
    • Previously only seen in the Japanese version, twelve jobs the player can pursue

The original Final Fantasy XII dropped over a decade ago for the PlayStation 2. The remaster will be made available for PlayStation 4 owners on July 11.
