Final Fantasy VII Remake Low-poly Figures Revealed At TGS 2019

Those waiting for the Final Fantasy VII Remake had a lot to be excited about thanks to TGS 2019. During the show’s first day, new footage from the game was revealed featuring our first look at The Turks, what appears to be Mark Hamill acting as the voice of Don Corneo, and our first look at a few of the summons within the game. Fans were also given their first look at the newly revealed “Classic Mode” for the remake, which essentially turns the game back into a turn-based JRPG with the characters controlling themselves while the players focus on inputting commands. Now, it appears that Square Enix has once again delved into the past, this time surfacing with some adorable low-poly figures featuring our favorite characters from Final Fantasy VII.

The Japanese publisher recently took to Twitter to reveal its new line of figures, which were put on display at TGS 2019 and cleverly crafted in the look of the original low-poly character models from the original game. The tweet features a nice shot of all the figures, with the picture on the left showing off some figures representing the remake. Check it out below:

Unfortunately, it appears that these particular figures won’t be available for purchase, as they are apparently part of a special lottery event at the show. That said, the English FFVII Remake twitter account was what shared a shot of the figures, so they could eventually be made available for purchase for the Western market.

Final Fantasy VII Remake releases on March 3, 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
