The latest installment in the Gears of War franchise has been out for a week now, which means players have been able to either get through the biggest campaign in the series’ history, or just take the action straight to one of the various multiplayer modes. That said, a dream has come true for many fans now that Batista is officially available in Gears 5, and obtaining him isn’t too difficult.

Essentially, all players will have to do to unlock Batista in Gears 5 is simply play the game. Jump into the character select screen, pick Marcus, and from there, players will be able to equip the Batista skin, which comes with over 700 recorded lines by the actor/WWE star himself.

As this is a promotion, Gears 5 players will only have until October 28th to jump into any version of the game to claim their Batista skin. That said, now would be a good time to hop in and take on the role of The Animal on PC or Xbox One.
